Course Description: This course is a review of Masonry Best Practices in construction. Currently adopted ASTM Masonry Standards and Masonry Best Practices will be reviewed. These standards have proven over time to insure resilient structures in harsh environments. We will be summarizing material specification, flashing/weep details, differential movement, vertical relief, mock-ups and sampling.
